I agree that having controls for Henchies is a good idea. However, I am more interested in seeing some of the supid behavior corrected. Most of these have been mentioned in other threads:

Not only do the henchies stand in a meteor shower, but when playing a caster they actually will group around you to include you in the shower.

When attacking with my warrior, why is Alesia in front of me?

Anyone else notice during the FPE that the healers actually stand in the middle of a group of baddies and use Rebirth?

Why does Mhenlo insist on ressing Lina before anyone else, even when Lina is halfway across the map?

Will Orion ever learn to stop using firestorm?

Just one more. When traveling any distance, why can't they keep up with me?

Well a better option would be a HUD similar to the Skill Menu or Quest Log. Namely you click a button it pops open showing henchman under your control (Only leaders get this display) in here you can set their strategy and tactics as well as commands suchas hold position, etc.

The AI on henchmens definatley need work put in.
I often play alone because of all the quitters and the people tying to decide about nothing wich can be quite frustrating sometimes.

I totally agree that GW needs som kind of controls for the henchmens.

For instance telling the monks to resurrect fallen members instead of attacking with their minimum damage weapons ending up that they die too and no other person can resurect.

Sometimes you end up in a fight with too many oponents and you want to flee or just tell the hencmen to draw back and recover for a while, what happens?
The get stuck and die.

Even though it's quite amusing to see Alesia or any other monk try to beat 5 monsters whilst being hexed or poisoned just to end up dead.

CTRL+R would be a nice command to tell the monks to ressurect the closes member.
CTRL+F Flee I guess...
